So next week marks the first week of finals...for me at least. I have my Personality final exam next Wednesday. Hopefully I'll get at least a B on my exam, otherwise that puts me at a C for the semester (since I failed 1 out of 4 of the exams, cuz I chose to study more for Physio since I mostly get Ds on those exams).
My exam schedule:
Wednesday 12/13: Personality Exam from 10-11
Monday 12/18: Psychology of Women Exam from 12:00-2:00
Tuesday 12/19: Physiological Psychology Exam from 10:00-12:00 and my 10 page paper due for Women's Studies
thursday 12/21: Psychological Statistics Exam from 7:30-9:30 (am!)
Hopefully I'll do decently on the last of my exams and projects. Well enough to get me at least a few decent grades in my classes.
In other news, I just finished scheduling my classes for next semester. For now these are the classes I'm taking...although depending on my Stats grade, I may or may not be making some changes:
Mondays:
Personality Theory lecture: 2-3:50
Biology of Women: 5-7:40pm
Tuesdays:
Research Methods lecture: 9-9:50
(hopefully rescheduling my Research Methods lab to this day too!)
Egyptian Mythology: 12:30-1:45
Wednesdays:
Research Methods Lab: 11-12:50
Personality Theory Discussion: 1-1:50
Personality Theory Lecture: 2-2:50
Art History (Topics in Chinese Art): 5-7:40pm
Thursdays:
Research Methods lecture: 9-9:50
Egyptian Mythology: 12:30-1:45
No Friday classes....yet again (In my 3 years here, I've only had class on fridays ONCE), so this means I can leave it up to weekends to work. I've worked out my schedule so that I can work 40 hours a week if I need to (and that includes 1 full day off...which would be Wednesdays and if I took Tuesdays off I'd be 3 hours shy of 40 hours a week). I'm at 16 credits again this semester, but if Research Methods doesn't work out for the Spring, I'm just going to have to drop to 12 for the semester since nothing else I need to graduate fits on my schedule (and it's pointless for me to take another class if it isn't level 300 or higher since it won't count toward graduation).
I already know this is going to turn into a fight with my parents. Unless amazingly I come out with a C+ in Stats (which will probably put me at a 2.62 between Stats and 101 to get into Research Methods). But yeah, we'll have to see what happens. I already told them I'd be more than willing to pay for that last semester on my own if I absolutely had to (since they told me they refused to help me for more than 4 years of college).
Anyway, I'm off to study for more quizzes and exams. Night everyone.
