bored
I'm in Indiana right now...bored.
Everyone's asleep, and I'm getting ready to get some sleep too, my stepmom and I have another 4-6 hr drive back to Wisconsin tomorrow. That and my cousin likes to wake up at 6 am....soo yeah. I got woken up by the baby and dogs this morning around 6:45. Lucky me, eh?
Some of this trip has been ok. Devin called me a few times. Texted me yesterday morning when I was driving, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out who it was... until I dialed the number. Turned out to be him, asking me how my trip was going so far. I ended up calling him back and talking to him for like 2 hours. haha. But other than that, I've mostly been bored. That's ok tho. Yesterday, after we got here, William (my uncle) took us to Borders, and I got to buy 3 new books. Yay. I'm gonna try and get at least one finished before school starts up again. I got Empress Orchid (which I started reading yesterday...very good so far), The Devil Wears Prada, and Memoirs of a Geisha. Looking forward to reading ALL of them soon hopefully!!
I'm not looking forward to paying for books. It's gonna be a pain in the ass. But oh well. I found some websites I'm probably going to order my textbooks from. I got my list of books for my Intro to Asian American Literature class. Looks like a pretty good variety in reading material. Although, one of the books we're reading, I read for my English class in 6th grade!! The Joy Luck Club. Any of you have Miss Min in 6th grade? Yeah. lol. I'm reading this book AGAIN. In COLLEGE. But oh well....it's a good book for this particular class.
