Obligary journal entry...
Okay, again I've been really bad about updating LJ. I'm still somewhat active at Deviantart and I post sometimes on Facebook. But for the most part, I'm not really online much.
Anyway, my illness got worse over the past year; I actually lost nearly 100 lbs just from fluid constricting my abdomen and not being able to eat. And unfortunately, I did end up having to start chemotherapy. I've been going through that for the past three months, and I have no idea how long, except that it'll be at least six months of treatment. The treatments themselves make me ill, too...so I've missed a lot of work and haven't had much energy to do much, not even much art as much as I try to force myself. I can't even find strength to play video games a lot of days, and it's hard to get out of bed.
I'm trying to keep optimistic, though. Despite the being sick thing, I started a new job a few months ago that I enjoy more than what I was doing. It's still not what I'd like to be doing nor is it something that I could work more on my art, but it's not as stressful. And put in another application to Hallmark. It'd be a bit of a drive, but at this point a drive that would be worth it, you know?
But just posting to prove I'm still around :)
