So, a few months ago, I decided to see if Gaia had gotten any better about the Art Arena, aside from the not getting gold for votes deal. So, submitted a couple of pieces, checked a week later and they hadn't been approved yet. Fine and dandy ( Read more... )

Ugh, I've never bothered with Gaia especially when I kept seeing bandwidth stealing from that site. After reading this, I'm so glad it confirmed my decision of not joining that site.

It never took that long for me until the last picture I submitted has been in queue for probably 3 months yeah ._. wtf.

Darn, that reminds me... I had a piece I submitted about a month ago as well. I'll have to go check on it and see if it ever got posted up hahaha.

Heh. And not all that long ago some gaggle of nimrods was all up in arms that Gaia didn't allow "non-fantasy" art in the Arena. "It's unfair to non-fantasy artists!" Yeah, well, maybe so, but the Arena already is bogged down enough as it is, nobody needs to have to sift through 17 billion landscapes, portraits and "abstract" artwork on top of what's already there.
