I really liked all these sweet vignettes of the marauders and how you pulled them together. Your dialogue is nice, and I liked your characterization, particularly of Sirius, James and Remus. I liked the conversation between Lily and Severus--it wasn't easy but quite realistic. Nice job.

I'm so glad you liked them! Thank you so much for the comment, I really appreciate knowing the particulars. It's a big relief to hear that the characters and dialogue came together the way I hoped they would. Thank you for reading!

My GOD, I love where you took this prompt! How each one at their own little part and it all tied up with Lily and James. It's true that love (how we see it, feel it, etc) changes with time and you presented that so well in this! I can't wait to rec this all over the place! You did a fantastic job and I've never been more honored to claim a gift! ♥

I'm a little bit in love with this story, to be honest. And your writing. And definitely a few of your characterizations, namely *Sirius*, James, Remus...Peter...well, pretty much everyone right on down to Regulus. But looking at the story as a whole, the vignettes were a great way to fill that prompt and each one is very imaginative. I'd have a hard time picking a favorite. I loved seeing a Regulus cameo in the first, not to mention some Regulus & Sirius interaction, as well as seeing how the Potters fit into the greater Wizarding World, especially through the eyes of the Blacks. What was also cool about that first one is that it dovetails so nicely into the canon scene on the train. And then you give us Remus's vulnerability--what a moment to show--complete with this sort of dialogue out of James: [Remus leaned forward as best as he could and read Animagus Transfigūrāre.] “See, we found out that your furry little problem doesn’t extend to other furry little things. So why not be furry little things ourselves?”And Peter? Just ( ... )

Wow. Thank you so very much for your wonderfully kind words. I'm blown away and completely flattered that you enjoyed this. Words cannot describe how encouraging it was to read your review as, truth be told, this is my first bit of fan fiction I've ever done.

While writing this, I won't deny that I fell a little (okay a lot) in love with the characters. So it's such a relief to know that the things you took away from these glimpses are what I'd hoped would come across clearly.

Thank you again for the amazing review, and I hoped to have added some more brightness to your holidays. :)

(Oh, and Sirius and his tie? I'm very temped to say he was out doing something naughty, but the truth is much more mundane than that. ;) )

I love this so much. Your characterisation is brilliant and I love how you brought the different moments together. I think my favourite was the first. Little James and Sirius were exactly how I imagine them and I love the imagine of spoilt and silly little James. Wonderful. Is there somewhere I can read more of your writing?
