And wild you did go. This fic was brilliant, and honestly made me think. I’ve always been fascinated with JK Rowling’s portrayal of blood status in wizarding communities and I think you really delved into an important issue here. I’ve not read many other fanfiction works that focus on blood status and wizarding politics in such detail, or so passionately, so reading this was wonderful.
Your characterisations of Lily and James were spot on: Lily seems like a strong, independent woman, and James’ love for her was beautiful and touching. I like that you had Lily call him out on his privilege - it’s nice that you didn’t get caught up in the romance between them and allow the situation to be brushed over. I loved this paragraph here, towards the end: Blood supremacy doesn't exist, it's nothing more than a destructive, volatile, and lethal social construct. ( ... )

But OMG I'm so touched by your commentary. I really had been thinking of how privilege and the lack thereof would work in the wizarding world and...well, this happened XD As much as I love Lily/James romance, I also just straight up love them on an angst level as well. It's a nice balance, given the times they were living in.
And yeah, Lily doesn't take that shit! Bam! XD
I love lack of coherency in this case :3 Thanks again
