I assumed that Peter had been Secret-Keeper from the start, but hmmm...your theory makes sense, too.

In any case, a well-written, heartbreaking entry.

Oh... Poor Sirius. Fuck, man... I liked the way you wrote Sirius, I thought it was quite good. From the "I can't even pretend I'm not turned on" to the bit about not wanting to trust Peter. But, honestly, the Secret Keeper bit kills me every time. *cringe*

I loved this - the dialogue, the characterization, the goofing around in the midst of a somber atmosphere. Just everything. Great job!

I loved Sirius's entry into the story! Oh, he made me smile. Interesting take on how Peter was selected as Secret-Keeper. It works. I only thought the ending was a bit abrupt, otherwise - nice job! :)

I like the idea of Sirius being the secret keeper for awhile, and then switching to Peter. It's an interesting theory, like jhestia85, I always kind of assumed Peter was the Secret Keeper from the start.

I love Lily's reluctance in the beginning, and her insistence that Harry will be scared if they stay there. She's so lovely in this fic, and motherly and wonderful, that it breaks my heart to think about what happens to them. James is adorable as well; he's trying so hard to make things work for them.

Sirius coming to the house and and convincing them to switch to Peter was just heart breaking, especially since we all know what happens in the end. Him telling Lily to 'trust Peter now', and Lily so quickly saying 'okay' was a great way to show her trust in Sirius.

And personally, I really like the ending. It was abrupt, but it was also hard hitting. The line about their home being a prison as well as a safe-house struck me; that's how I've always thought of their house in Godric's Hollow.
