My Chattagooga trip :)

Last Monday was our trip to Chattagooga!! I was so excited, I could hardly sleep! We got up real early and went to Mck'y D's for a breakfast on the go. It didn't take very long to get there (about the same time as goin' to my Nanny's) and I loved looking out the window at all the rivers and mountains. We sang my favorite Bible songs on the way and Daddy and I sang "Deep and Wide" REALLY LOUD! Mommy said "Shhh! My ears hurt!" We finally got there and went to the museum.

It was so much fun...my first museum!! I was a little shy at first, there were A LOT of other childrens there. We started out slow, with mommy taking my picture by their fall decorations (she's crazy about fall, my mommy).

Next, we went into this neat exhibit of some artist dude that used strobe lights and stuff..it was this tiny room with flashing lights and fans and shoes and clapping hands and birds spinning around and around. My mommy thought it was super cool, but I don't know, it kinda scared me. Then I sat at this little booth with my daddy where you played with light switches and stuff. Then we went to the Little Yellow House, which was like a house just my size! They had a treehouse and a garage with tools like Bob the Builder and a kitchen that my mommy said was nicer than hers! Here's me playing trains with my daddy (He's in A LOT of these pictures!)

After that, was my daddy's favorite exhibit: The Music Room!! My mommy got some great pictures of me playing drums (of course!).

Then we went into the Art room, which was my mommy's favorite. They had the most beautiful pictures on the walls! We got to make our own pictures,

make totally awesome block creations on a lighted table (my daddy was very proud of his),

,

make sculptures with more blocks, wooden wiggly ones this time,

and make stamp art, rubbings with crayons, and clay art!

Next, we went to the Dinosaur room where I actually got to play Archaeologist and dig for dino bones with my daddy.

We took a small break in the reading corner, where I sat in the comfy, cozy chair,

and played on the squishy blocks.

We took one last trip through the Little Yellow House, where I played cook, tossed some laundry, had a picnic (with strawberry cake YUM!), and took a ride in a little red corvette.

Last of all, we went to the water room. It was great! They had boats and canals, with little waterfalls and my daddy's favorite of all, water guns!! I had fun playing in the water.

It was so much fun, I want to go back to Chattagooga real soon. Next time, we're going to see the fishies at the Aquarium and maybe go to Rock City to see the gnomes. After our trip to the museum, we were all VERY hungry. We ended up eating downtown at this place:

It was delicious! I had a grilled cheese sanwich and mommy & daddy had the mushroom burger. After we ate, we went on an adventure for mommy's pretty birdhouse. You can read about that in Mommy's journal, zenjardin. The ride back home was relaxing and beautiful. It was kinda misty and gray outside in the mountains, but mommy changed me into my pj's, gave me my rabbit blanket and a big ol'cup of chocolate milk, so I was content. We had lots of fun and can't wait to go back again, maybe for Christmas! I hope you liked reading about my trip..I'm going night, night now. See you when you wake up in the morning!
