Are You a Grammar Nazi?
Go you! You are a true grammar nazi. In fact, I may even get a comment from you alerting this grammar nazi to a mistake in the quiz. Incorrect punctuation, fragments, run-ons, incorrect verbs, switches between tenses, and the like all drive you mad! You're probably one to find mistakes in novels, then put the book down and rummage for a pen until you can write in the correction. Your friends may laugh at you for this, but you can't help it; and come on, do we really want all those evil imperfections running around?

Grab Code That's definitely me! I'm a grammar and spelling freak. However, I do have a problem with writing too many run-on sentences, which is something I'm trying to correct. Some of the other grammar tests I looked at were ridiculously easy. Then there were some in which I was finding grammar and spelling mistakes! One spelling test didn't even know how to spell incorrectly, spelling it with only one "r". And it was asking if another word was spelled incorrectly!
One of my biggest pet peeves is when a person doesn't add "ly" on the end of an adverb when necessary. It's so hard for me not to correct it! When reading blogs and websites, it's very hard for me to read things where people mix up such words as your and you're, or there and their. I try to overlook it, but it seems to jump right out at me. If it's someone young, who perhaps just hasn't learned much grammar yet, it's much easier to overlook the issue. It's hard when it's someone older who should know better.
In other news, Mama and I are going to see United 93 tomorrow night. Actually, that would technically be tonight, considering it's 2am. We usually go to the theatre in our mall, but it's not showing the movie anymore. It is still showing at the other theatre in town, but there are only two showings all day, which rather surprised me. I didn't think it would be going out of theatres so quickly. I'm glad we're going tomorrow.
