Hanging Gardens Flat, Sunday Morning

The alarm went off early Sunday morning, and Lily groaned. Wouldn't life be so much nicer if she remembered to turn that stupid thing off on Saturday nights, since Sunday was the only day of the week she actually could sleep in if she wanted to. Draco grumbled and put his pillow over his head. When it became clear to him he wasn't going back to sleep he lifted his head up. His hair was very disheveled.

"Morning." he says in a tired voice.

"Indeed it is," she replied, smiling at the sight of his messy hair and trying not to sound too cheerful. She'd always been a morning person, but was fully aware of how annoying it could be to those who were not. Walking back to the bed, she jumped on it and scooted back to sit against the headboard. "Sorry 'bout the alarm - forgot to turn it off last night... was a bit distracted," she said, innocently but with a wink.

"It's not a-" he yawned "-problem." He threw his arm over Lily and put his head on her stomach. "Have anything to do today?" he asked.

Lily tried to adjust her nightgown to make sure it was covering everything and then she ran her fingers through his hair. She had meant to try and smooth the silky hair down but ended up just playing with it instead. "Work at noon, but a blissfully free morning," she replied. "You?"
