We named our children after towns that we'd never been to...
Erin and I have had so many problems with the internet lately. It's finally up and working again and will hopefully stay that way. Luckily we have a whole assortment of nerdy but loveable guys who will help us out in return for a dinner cooked by Erin.
I went back to Columbia last wednesday and had so much fun. Dayna had to work and Heidi had to babysit but that was okay because Jason come over and it was nice to have to apartment to ourselves. Dayna got off work shortly after Jason left and we went to Buffalo Wild Wings with Ivy and JJ and Heidi met us there when she was done with her thing. It was karoke night and although only Ivy sang out of our group, we had a blast. We stayed until the bar closed then we went home and I curled up in bed with Dayna since my old bedroom is so barren it's depressing be in alone.
Heidi came to visit on Sat which was very exciting because she'd never been to Alton so we took her on the grand tour then we all went to the Sting/Annie Lennox concert for which Mr. Heintz had given us VIP tickets. JJ was able to meet us there because we'd had one extra ticket which was really awesome. On Sunday Heidi Erin and I went to the St. Louis zoo where we saw elephants, an old monkey who just sits in the window and jerks off all day, and a couple crazy old ladies who work at the zoo (as well as a bunch of other animals who weren't interesting enough to be mentioned). On Monday Heidi left and Hannah from Cottey came to visit. Hannah left this morning and it was a lot of fun to have her here but I managed to get swimmer's ear so I've been grumpy and miserable since Sat. and after Heidi left I couldn't muster up enough reasons to care about anything besides being grumpy and miserable so I didn't get to spend a lot of time wit Hannah.
I did decide to give in and take some tylenol for a couple days (for those of you who don't know, I never take any kind of meds even pain killers because I always act funny when I do). Everyone now understands why I never take any medicine unless it's necessary but they all had a good time laughing at me in the mean-time.
It's time for bed in such a big way.
