Ah, nothing like a Mardi Gras parade to cheer a girl up. Especially the always irreverent and often raunchy Spanish Town parade. This was their 25th anniversary this year. Pink Flamingos were everywhere. We caught beaucoup beads, so many in fact we ended up giving tons away to some kids nearby.

My friend was just telling me about Mardi Gras but I don't think I've seen pictures before. I always thought the festivities were at night though, hehe.

Dude, it's all about the beads. The one with the most wins. lol
You catch as many as you can, and you want the "good" ones, not those short, little dinky ones. Course once the parade's over, you have zero use for them. ;) I did catch a really nice one though with a painted Mardi Gras mask on it. I've hung it by some theater art on my walls.
