Performance
for the past two days, i've been very busy with performance. on saturday, i woke up early to go to Toatmasters. i made a speech about "sleep"..lol. well after class ended waited for sister to finish up, and we both hurried home. after lunch we headed toward Ohlone for the dress rehearsal. at around 2:50 we finally started the first dance. amanda was there to watch the rehearsal! ^.^ thank you for coming and the beautiful flowers<3! so as typical unpunctual asians, we finished the rehearsal around 6:30! (were supposed to be done by 5) -_-ll they gave us just sOoo much time for dinner. i ate mine in between dances, and still didn't finish. -_- oh well. finally at around 7:40? we started the music for my first dance. sorry mike, you must have waited for a LOnG time. well after "Ode to Jasmine" i immediately changed into "Shadow of Bamboo"'s costume. (trio dance) as we performed, none of us showed a sign of nervousness. overall, my mom later told me that "Shadow of Bamboo" was very well done. hehe.. so happy ^.^ cause during the rehearsal i totally screwed up. i was blinded by the lights, didn't know which i was turning, ended up almost crashing into Peggy! sorry. after the intermission, i had two more dances: "Charm of Spring" and "Song of Years." both of the dances went well, although, i did kinda mess up on "Charm of Spring". it was a tiny mistake, wonder if anyone caught it. hehe. as we finished our last dance "Song of Years" we stayed on the stage for the grand finale. truthfully i was expecting flowers from *cough* someone that time.. cause when my sis ushered people in, she told me about it. lol. no surprise. well after the curtain fell, i went backstage to change. then i saw u there with a huge bouquet of purplish flowers. WOW! tHaNk yOu! <3!! *hugs*
on sunday, we had a pretty rushed dress rehearsal because the show was in the afternoon, but regardless we still finished rehearsing before performance began. i only had the first dance and the last dance yesterday, so i was pretty bored in between. after intermission, i slipped down to the audience and sat in the 2nd row in the middle. =) perfect view. overall, i didn't mess up at all in either dances. i guess everything went pretty well. although, people did get hurt, they were still strong enough to perform. ^^ good job peggy! alrighty, dinner calls, bye-O
