Still pleasant - snow almost gone - W.S.E. - preached in the forenoon from Joshua 23d part of the 14th - In the afternoon from Psalms 33d & 5 -

Still pleasant. Blue skies and warm sun, temperatures around mid-seventy. Bonnet weekend and the weather was good, so I wore my half-gypsy straw bonnet. Silk ribbon & flowers...my first day in full summer fashions of this season. Spun wool with great fervor at Fenno today, keen on making more progress after seeing the fine work of my co-workers. After the first day back to the summer schedule, open till five, seven days a week, we were ready for a trip to the pub. And so we went, and had a lovely time!
