The seaweed is apparently not greener
Somewhere along the line, I have failed as a parent.
I just showed a clip of "Under the Sea from Little Mermaid to my children. Who doesn't love Little Mermaid?
Me (afterwards): "What did you think?"
Charlotte: ". . ."
Elise: "That was a scary one."
Me: 🙁
Charlotte: "Can we watch 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman?' now?"
Me: "No."
(I did show them "Let Me Be Your Wings" from Thumbelina, though. They liked that one. They both want to be Thumbelina. That's okay; I want to be Thumbelina too. Only not at this second, because I would fall between the cushions of the couch and get squished. That would be a sad way to go.)
