Updates
I forgot to put mney in the fucking meter at work today, and because my student is being an asshole and won't walk outside with me (I am not allowed to leave him alone) I am sure I will get a ticket.
My throat hurts, my glands seem to be all swollen up.
My body hurts, but in a good way. I went running on friday, and then went Latin dancing and then went to pearls.
On saturday I went to Pizza Putt and played this really cool boxing video game. you hole these pretend boxing gloves that weigh 2 pounds each, and you fight a guy on the screen, and you have to duck out of the way when he swings at you. It was really fucking cool, but hard! It also tells you how many calories you burnt at the end. I guess thats a cool new gimic for kids. Oh and with my tickets, I bought some bling...Puerto Rico bling!
Yesterday I had a hockey game. I played well, I am finally starting to feel that myt hands are coming back. I am WAY out of shape though. My face-offs were awesome last night. On one play in my offensive zone, I won the face-off back my wing in the high slot (in front of the net) and she shot right away, and we scored within seconds the ref dropping the puck. It was hot. I love my hockey team, they are an awesome group of women.
I baked pumpkin pie this weekend, not from scratch though. I totally cheated on the crust and bought store brand crusts, and made the filling from the goop in the can. However, it was exponentially better than th frozen kind that you make in the oven.
Ruthie cooked chuleta (sp?) and rice and beans for me saturday night. Chuleta is a form of porkchops. It was soooo good though. I cannot believe how good the food is that she prepares, it is out of hand.
Saturday night I hung out at the house with B(my roommate), cassie (the new girl in her life), and Becca (her best friend from undergrad. It was fun, because there was like a twenty minute period of time when Becca and Cassie went outside to smoke and B and I were left. So I got a chance to see B a little. I miss her so much. Oh well.
After school today, I am playing in the Edmunds middle school staff vs. Eighth grade soccer team, soccer game, should be fun.
