"The snow is snowing, and I'm not going, and he can marry a moose!"

So. I would have made a post about this earlier, but I was refusing to accept Bea's death. In fact, I still am. So whatever.

Bea Arthur is (WAS! AHH!) brilliant stuff. She has (HAD) probably the best comedic timing in the world, and she was just... gah. I denied my love for her for so long (face it, she is frightening to the childhood mind), but deep down, I've always known she was epic. I went through a ridiculously HARDCORE Golden Girls phase (as I'm sure most of you have...) where I did nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe The Golden Girls. I wrote a column for Betty White's Official Fan Club - Bets' Pets when I was 11. I watched The Golden Girls 24/7, and when I wasn't watching The Golden Girls, I was watching Maude (Bea & Rue), Mama's Family (Rue & Betty), The Mary Tyler Moore Show (Betty), or the Game Show Network, violently searching for one of the millions of appearances that Betty made on Match Game, Password, Pyramid, Tattle Tales, etc. I've been watching The Golden Girls since I was a tot, but that hardcore obsession lasted from 5th-7th grade (BUT IT SEEMED SO MUCH LONGER), and I actually had to stop watching that show completely for quite a few years. I'm still easing myself back into it.

I don't know where this story is going, but... REALLY. Bea Arthur. Stop being dead. I'm positive that I killed her. I was watching Mame the day before she passed away, and I called her a "Beautiful Monster" and said that she would "live forever". Go me.

An epic Bea Arthur video spam is coming your way tonight. Get pumped.
