You guys know Constantine, from American Idol? Yeah, yeah, the one who was Roger in the tour of Rent?
WELL. I just found out that he played the role of Mark, and then he subbed in for Jesus in TURTLE LANE PLAYHOUSE's "JCSS." I see all thier show. I saw this show. I saw Constantine Maraulis in person, live. And, of course, I don't remember him, but my mom says he was really good.
Proof? A review: Just as miraculous is Constantine Maroulis' ascent from Mark to Jesus. He's a second year student at Boston Conservatory, and he is yin to Judas' yang. His Jesus is other-worldly and naive, a true lamb of god...which makes the crucifixion unbearably hard to watch, and gives the spirituality of the show an unexpected boost. This "Superstar" blazes. Don't miss it.
