While I think that the support students have shown transgender classmate Michael Loscalzo is fabulous, I am rather disheartened by the media's (in all the articles I've read) refusal to use the proper pronouns for her. How hard is it, really? It's not surprising, but it still makes me sad that these kids are so obviously much more understanding than their adult counterparts. Blah, world.
