My Adventure at the Pasadena City College Flea Market (May 2012 edition)

May 06, 2012 12:28

Today marked yet another fun day at the Pasadena City College Flea Market!

Still feeling the effects of last night's adventure, I awakened near-exhausted, but determined to attend the show. Having prepared myself rather early, I was at the show at the crack of 9am - a record for me! The day dawned a little grey and overcast, but as the morning wore on, the sun made a few cameo appearances through the clouds.

Anyone wanna "play doctor"? How cool is this, eh?

These posters were wonderfully drawn representations of various Shakespeare characters (the top one being Titania from A Midsummer Night's Dream), which included a description of the character and quotes from the plays. Too bad there wasn't one for my beloved Mercutio or I would've bought it!

Remember when this wasn't ironic or funny? Neither do I.

They just don't make cool toys like this anymore, do they?

Well, maybe Japan still does:

Want.

And now it's time for another scintillating episode of...

Dolls That May Come Alive in the Middle of the Night and Kill You

"We're coming to get you...ALL OF US!!!"

There isn't much creepier than a monkey in a top hat and tails.

The latest additions to Mattel's new "What the Fuck?™" line of dolls.

The eyes...THE EYES...they're...they're...HUMAN!!!! *silent scream*

Phew. After all that terror, I need a drink. Wait...WHAAAAA?

Ahhhh...spider sorbet. This guy's actually pretty cute, isn't he?

Even the bears are not copping to this glaring grammatical error in their sign.

Phew! What a great day. Hope you all enjoyed coming along with me today!
