Warnings: Swords? Does that even count?
Effects: Adrenaline Rush, tension, exhaustion, and determination.
Sunlight pours its way into an old fashioned Samurai Dojo. Shiki carefully analyzes her surroundings. Her father is on the other side of the room, waiting for her to strike. If someone were to walk into the Dojo, they would notice their intent to kill. The air is tense. Shiki rushes towards her opponent. She is fast. The sound of heavy foot steps running across a hard wood floor could be heard. Her father's blade then clashes with her own. Sparks form in between the two. Shiki knocks the opposing blade off her own. Then, the blade comes back to strike her neck. She manages to parry it and then grits her teeth. She didn't get out of that one unscathed. Her lower arm had been injured, but it was only 'minor'. She could still fight with it.
Again she found herself at a distance. Taking a deep breath, she adjusts her stance and rushes in once more. Her blows are more fierce than the last. Her father has not lost his composure yet. Shiki on the other hand, had a difficult time dealing with the blade's pressure. She attempts to push him back towards the wall by running forward. Her plans have failed. Her father repels her blade with his own, and pushes her towards the side. Shiki groans in pain as she glares at her opponent. Her training session was over for the day.

Shiki woke up from that dream. She came out with the same injuries she had received during training. She stares at the blood flowing down from her arm.
"This is something new."
