Day 3 → Your favorite season
Whoops! didn't post one yesterday...today gets two posts! Yay!
I have to say...after thinking long and hard about it, I think Season 4 is probably my favourite season. Some of the episodes in this season are amazing...they span from hilarious to hopeful to heartbreaking with some amazing performances from the main cast, as well as the guests. Plus, we meet Castiel and throw the whole mythology into a tizzy with the introduction of the angels...even if most of them are dicks. ;)
Some of my favourite episodes from this season are:
Metamorphosis - The guy that played the Rugaru was just effin creepy...such a cool monster, but you felt so bad for the guy. Also Dean witnessing Sam using his demony powers...knew that talk was coming...eeeeep....
Yellow Fever - Hehehe, Dean is just hilarious when he's a big scaredy cat! This episode has some great comedy, as well as the race against time before Dean's heart explodes. Also, I'll never look at "Eye of the Tiger" the same way again!
After School Special - DODGEBALL! That is all....hehe
Sex and Violence - the boys pitted against each other, spewing horrible things back and forth is awful. Issues much? The tension gets noticeably worse after this episode...
On the Head of a Pin - Dean vs. Alastair? Oh my God, makes me wince and I'm not a squeamish girl! But Dean's eyes are so...cold and empty. That first-season spark is gone and it's terrifying to watch someone sink into that dark place in their soul. The end scene with Cas in the hospital, where Dean is telling him to find another person to do it, because he can't, breaks my heart a lil bit...
Monster at the End of This Book - Hahahaha, the Prophet Chuck! And what's a slash fan?? This is definitely a little bit lighter episode that makes me giggle. Dean reading to Sam in the laundromat never fails to put a smile on my face...it's just so adorable.
When the Levee Breaks/Lucifer Rising - My poor Sammy in demon blood detox? God, you really feel the pain he's going thru...it's awful to watch someone you've grown so attach to be in this much pain. I blame Jared Padalecki and his cute little puppy face...damn you, sir! Make me want to just cuddle you, why dontcha? Hehe, but the interactions in this episode are amazing and the freakin' ending blew my mind! Take that Ruby! Whoopsy, Lillith! Uh Oh, Lucifer? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!
