Koa's 2nd Birthday Cake(s)

Since Koa shares his birthday week with 2 other people in the family (his great-grandfather and nick's uncle) i have gotten into the habit of doing 3 cakes. this year it was an undecorated apple cake, a yellow cake with chocolate frosting, and a chocolate with white frosting. i was super proud of how they turned out.

thanks! other than the support sticks (which i wish i had come up with a better method for) it is completely edible. chocolate coins and candy gems :)

Ah the treasure chest cake came out really well. The tutorials I (briefly) read suggested sticking some chocolate coins straight up in the cake to support the lid, but that's not very much space. I like yours.
