Life is going pretty well, I guess...

All things considered, I think the past few days have been pretty good. Embracing my new outlook and all. :-)

Actually, two things of note happened...

1)I got flowers!! From an anonymous person! They were gorgeous--I just wish I knew who they were from.

2)Jeannie left the center...and the events surrounding that are fascinating! First of all, she ran into someone she referred to as a "watcher." I'm not certain exactly what that means--I mean, I know what vampires are, and what slayers are, and I'm pretty familiar with demons and stuff, but I'm not sure about this watcher thing. She says they train slayers. Which is kinda neat, I guess. Gotta wonder why they just train and don't help fight, but whatever. Heh.

Anyway, she ran into one, and she found out who he was and what he did and decided she wanted some extra training. This was more than fine with me--I mean, I don't need as many slayers as I have, y'know? So, she's gonna go off and spread her wings and whatnot. But before she left--WOW! OK, I should backtrack. This guy, Andrew somethingorother who is apparently TRYING to be a watcher (how hard could it be?? They WATCH!!)came by to get her and take her back to SlayerSchool. Anyway, before he left the Watcher-In-Command type person called and told him to pick up ANOTHER slayer down here in LA--one who was insane! I got very limited details about the whole thing, but...God, the poor girl. It all sounded horrible. That poor girl...I wish I could help her...somehow.

Anyhow...Andrew left to go find her, and when he did, he ran into Angel and the boys at Wolfram & Hart. Well, it would seem the Watcher-In-Command type person had heard of them, and knew they used to be really evil and everything, and he doesn't trust them at all, so he told Andrew to bring Dana back with him. I mean, hey--if anyone can help this girl, Buffy can, right? Anyway, Jiles or whatever his name was told Andrew that Angel and the guys would probably be "adverse" to him removing Dana (the crazy slayer), so to ask MY slayers to back him up. And they did. They all came back pretty excited after that, all "in the zone" as they put it. It was nice to see them all worked up over something!

So, yeah. Fascinating, see? I couldn't believe all of that. I mean--WOW!
