Hold on to your seats! It’s an actual update...WITH PICTURES!
Life has been really busy lately. Very good but, very busy.
Ray started a new job that he really seems to like so far. I am relived that he is out of the nut factory he was working at! He is a lot more relaxed now.
We did get a new dog a couple of months ago. We were thinking we wanted a young, medium sized, male terrier-mix mutt but, apparently what we needed was a teeny little 6 year old female Chihuahua...I know! I am as shocked as you.
Behind the cut are some pictures of what I did on Friday and also of the new dog and some more blah blah blah…
She’s is a rescue dog that we meet one day at PetSmart and we both loved her on the spot. We had to wait two weeks and go through a quite lengthy adoption process but, that’s good…you know they are looking for just the right home for their dogs. She was rescued along with a colony of feral cats…I believe she thinks she is a cat! She licks her paws and cleans her face just like a kitty. She has settled in very well and is completely spoiled rotten. We named her Birdie because she doesn’t really bark; she makes these little chirpy bird noises also when she closes her eyes she has perfect baby bird eyes.
We have been doing a lot of stuff this year...festivals, events& oother junk. Every weekend has had something going on. It’s been great!
That's right, Biyatches! I met Willy Wonka!!! It was completely wonderful. He was very soft-spoken and didn't shake hands with anyone. He also looked pretty old but, he was still Gene Wilder...he has the nicest face...very sweet.
His new book is titled "My French Whore" and it was a decent read, very quick & easy.
P.S. 300 was better then I expected. I loved it on so many levels...if I could, I would marry it. (Sorry Ray!)
P.S.S. Spring ahead SUCKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just in case you didn't know. I would NOT marry it even if it asked me really nicely.
