i haven't updated in forever
erp i am currently updating from the tcu library, because there's no internet in the apartment yet =[ so this will have to do for now!
**ALMOST WEEKEND UPDATE WITH CHRISTINA HERBERT!**
michael and i finally got our apartment! hooray. we're only in there til may 31st. feel free to call me and visit anytime. austin people! i will be throwing some sort of get together for you guys when you come back for thanksgiving, so count on that. moving was hectic, of course, and i was a little homesick at first, but we've been there almost a week and it's getting better everyday. i don't understand how anyone could move out of state from their parents for college. i guess i'm just a big baby. everything's going well, and i hope the internet/cable will be hooked up soon. oh wait, except the fact that michael can't wash a good dish. lord. we're working on that.
school has been going okay. nothing too great, nothing too bad. i've been getting good grades in religion and not so good grades which will have to be improved in history.
i got a job at ulta on hulen!!! which is the perfect job for me. excellent =] so basically, my whole life is in like a five mile radius, except for my parents house. but they're still close too.
i'm glad my vote counted for shit. i'm horrified that bush won, and that the stupid stadium passed. jerry jones has a couple billion dollars, and he still wants my money. get out of my pocket, jerry! bah. my dad and i even took a picture of him standing next to one of those "Vote YES!" signs, with him giving it the finger. real mature =]
i cannot wait for thanksgiving and christmas. i basically can't find a good time to make another trip down to austin, so that's the only time i'll get to see you guys =[ but DON'T WORRY! i'll make time, especially during the no extended holiday spring.
oo - i've gotten some great stuff lately:
+ chanel glossimer in sirop
+coach change purse/card holder with the mini c's in the tan color (i love tan)
+white barn candle company room spray in wild blackberry vanilla
+MAC eyeshadow in Honey Lust
+clinique city base oil free powder foundation (choiceeee)
+ solar nails put back on, thank god
+essie's chic boutique and meet balls nail polish
+o.p.i.'s i'm not really a waitress nail polish
and wetseal is having a sale if anyone wants stuff like long sleeve tshirts - i got two really cute kind of sheer gauzy ones for 15 dollars.
these updates are usually few and far in between, so i know you won't really be waiting for another one. but if you leave comments, keep in mind i probably won't read them for a few days.
