1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before? make quiche, go kayaking, experience a near 2 year relationship, be a bridesmaid, go to Tiki Oasis
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i managed to accomplish many things, not fufill them all but i think i did a satisfactory job. i've been thinking what i've got set for the next year... and will have them hammered out soon.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Quite a handful of friends gave birth this year!
4. Did anyone close to you die? No, and lets hope that it stays that way for a while.
5. What countries did you visit? i didn't get to! Does Washington count?
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010? Take more photos documenting my life
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? don't really have one...
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? i'm not really sure
9. What was your biggest failure? losing my job?
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? experienced my first unwanted back pain the end of this year. i don't ever want to have back pain ever again...
11. What was the best thing you bought? probably my Exchangeable Circular Needle
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? All of my closest friends... i wouldn't be here without them.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? that person will remain nameless.
14. Where did most of your money go? alcohol, tiki things, and yarn...
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Tiki Oasis and spending Christmas with my family

i. happier or sadder? i should say happier

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? take more photos of myself and be more positive of myself
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? brood over my feelings and over think things
20. How will you be spending Christmas? Spent it with my family, opening gifts, drinking tea, eating christmas cake, and playing chinese checkers and blokus.
21. Did you fall in love in 2010? more like fall out of love...
22. How many one-night stands? Does that include friends with benefits? after July, quite a handful and loved every moment of it.
23. What was your favorite TV program(s)? Mad Men (What?) and How i met your mother (SUIT UP!)
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? besides my uncle... nah.
25. What was the best book you read? i read quite a few... though i did enjoy the percy jackson series and the Sookie stackhouse books that i've read.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? too much! just a few: glitch mob, straight no chaser, janelle monae, tikiyaki orchestra, the hula girls, Adam Marsland (giggle)
27. What did you want and get? a mattress pad for my bed!
28. What did you want and not get? a point and shoot camera
29. What was your favorite film of this year? Probably Despicable Me...
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Amazing that i actually celebrated it, i was 25 this year.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? having found a new job after losing my last one
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010? recently got into pin up vintage style and am loving it!
33. What kept you sane? lots of music, and the support of some of my closest friends
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? John Hamm...
35. What political issue stirred you the most? i'm not really sure...
36. Who do you miss? my friends in the bay area and in japan
37. Who was the best new person you met? ahh... i've met a lot of awesome people this year!

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010: things can change so much in a year, let alone a month. sometimes things can change so drastically within myself that could turn the whole world around... i just need to remember that i'm right where i'm supposed to be in the world for no one but myself.
