I'm home!
For a two day road trip to Miyazaki-ken... man we did a lot for two days. It was a lot of fun! half the time I didn't exactly know where I was going... I guess you could say I was the tagalong going for the joyride. But i'm glad that I did. It was a new experience. Despite all of the driving - I had a lot of fun. We went to so many places so it wasn't too much trouble at all. I'd jot down all the places we went to, but I don't even remember all of the names.
I had chicken namba... and lots of other chicken dishes last night. Chicken namba is the Miyazaki-ken special food... its like chicken karage with a special tartar sauce. A little sweet, but not by much. Other popular foods include mango and summer oranges.
last night's dinner was really good. really cheap... and lead the way to another drunk night.
3 beers... and i lost count of all the souchu that I drank. After going to the izakaya we went to 7-11 and bought more alcohol to drink, munchies to snack on and so forth. I was pretty out there by the end of the night. I think Taniguchi-san was telling Sumiyoshi-san that I drank a lot... I ended up waking up early feeling really woozy, didn't eat much of the breakfast... but it was good and I was full. Then after a while my head cleared up and it was alright.
we drove a lot by the sea coast today - it was beautiful day. I'm really glad the rain cleared up.
I think my favorite place that we went to was Aoshima (blue island). It was beautiful... and I wish we could have spent more time there. Second to that would probably be Miyazaki's suspension bridge. But alas - ending up we took our time that we ended up getting home late... so we were charged another 10000Yen for the rental car. Ah well... it couldn't have been helped. I'm not sure what else to say - i did take a lot of photos and i'm going to be editing through them. Other than that I'm going ice skating tomorrow - it should be fun! i think its time for me to pass out now...
