I'm currently in Ubon again, sitting in an internet cafe with my host sister waiting for the time to pass. Then, it's off to see my beloved Ubon Khun Mei Amy at a really upper class department store called Robinson where I will buy notebooks for school next year. All hail the girl with ridiculously cute school supplies

Owen and a Star Wars marathon, sounds inspired. gonna have to meet that boy one day. I went to see one of my guitar gods recently. Robin Trower. Oh how i love to watch and hear Robin Trower play that strat of his. A real guitar god, oops sorry, guitar GOD, of all time. I went and saw him in san francisco at the Fillmore on friday night, had an extra ticket but mike bailed on me, marcie didn't want to go, who cares, i went alone and loved the show. got up real close and stood for five hours. didn't get tired either. then drove to santa cruz to see him again saturday night. got up against the rail. wondeful. got to meet him too. he signed a photo. i asked him what chords he was playing on one of his songs, "hannah" and he laughed and said he didn't the chords, he just plays the guitar. was he kidding me?
he's coming back in sept. starts in washington, then oregon. portland and grants pass. marcie thinks i've seen him enough and i don't need to go anymore. we all know how i love moderation in all things and avoid getting too involved in collecting or seeing things i love. so for now i only have a ticket for grants pass. that was an easy sale because marcie wants to take her mom to see uncle bill and by then she should have month of recovery under her head and be ready to play and visit her loved ones. meanwhile i get to see Robin Trower again. CAn't wait for another Dylan tour to hit the west. Sayonara for now, love Greg the uncle
