(no subject)
Yesterday I went down to MWC to visit Denise. We went to the movies and saw Man on Fire and it was a very good movie. We then went to Cheeseburger in Paradise and it as always was yummy. It was Denise's first time there and she thought it was good. Yay!! We then went back to MWC and sat by the fountain where somebody had put soap in it. I know that is nothing new and it has happen on the fountains on the mall at UMD. The funny thing about this was that there were a ton of bathing suits in the fountain and they all matched. lol We then went back to her dorm and I met some of the people I've been hearing so much about recently. It was nice to meet those people and put their names to a face. Overall it is was a great night.
Some highlights of the night: The mustard at Cheeseburger would not come out. So I started to pull this plastic tab off and Denise was like no that goes there. So she tried and couldn't get anything out. She then realized that it was a brand new bottle and they forgot to take the plastic cover off. lol I've never seen a restaurant that doesn't pull those off, but hey it gave us a good laugh. The second highlight was when I had to get gas. I couldn't get my gas cap off b/c it was on there so tight since my dad put gas treatment in my car and he closed it so tight. So I then ask Denise for help and she couldn't get it either. lol So we were laughing and then Denise got the cap off b/c she isn't weak like I am. I wish I could be stronger. Some people may look at us and go OMG but we have fun times!! Good memories too. When I am 40 and looking back at my college years I will think of those two things and laugh. lol
Although I still wonder about MWC and the ratio they offer on their website. Everybody knows MWC has a lot of female students and they really lack guys, but their site claims it is a 3:2 ratio. I don't see how the hell they got that!!! lol Hey but I am not going to complain b/c they may not have many guys but THEY DO HAVE GUYS!!!! Thank god!!!!
Oh and with their name changing to University of Mary Washington next year so are the colors. Ugh! Ugly are the only way to describe them. lol They are still thinking about changing the mascot as well. Which no offense why change your mascot? I could see if they were still the spinning wheels like they were when they were all female, but being the eagles is what MWC has become known for. lol Crazy stuff but hey as long as the academics continue to kick ass that is all that matters.
