I am so happy Wake pulled thru and made it to the Sweet 16!!!! It was the highlight of my day. Now I am so happy b/c not only did they win they get to play overrated St. Joe's which will make my week. Not to be mean and bash St. Joe's but they are very overrated. If they played in the ACC they would be on the bottom and not the top. My favorite thing I saw on TV yesterday was a story on St. Joe's. They were saying how people felt they were overrated and they weren't and they were like put us up against a Duke or North Carolina and we will prove that we aren't. First of all the ACC teams kick ass just b/c of all that talent in the conference. St. Joe's did not play one hard game all this year I am sorry and they had too many close call games against crappy schools. Second, and this is my favorite one, U Conn who I love b/c I have a lot of respect for their coach couldn't beat the ACC this year in two tries. I am sorry U Conn is a zillion times better than St. Joe's and should have been a number one seed over them and if they can't do it nobody can. Well Syracuse and Texas. But that Maryland game I have to admit had a ton of calls that were bullshit against UMD. UNC I only watched the first half b/c I fell asleep since I was so tired and drained from driving home from Florida. I saw a few calls. I have to admit minus Duke all the ACC teams have been getting bullshit calls on them. Which I know the NCAA committee hates the ACC, but dude the refs should not be that bias. If the UMD game had been called fairly, for the most part, UMD would have won b/c they wouldn't have had to had that last shot they missed. But hey it is all good. Thank god I am not a Terp fan anymore. lol My whole family, well dad's side, are all bummed out. I am just happy Wake with all the bad calls can still get the job done. lol Wow I love March Madness. My pool took a three game hit yesterday with Stanford, Gonzaga, and Maryland not winning, but I don't care b/c I am still kicking ass. I had Stanford losing to UMD in the Sweet 16 which I know that is bad b/c both are out. The good thing a lot of people in my poll had Stanford in the final four, going to the championship game and losing, or winning it all. Same thing with St. Joe's so after Wake I am so going to be dominating the pool again. I am the only one who picked Wake to win it all. Victory in my poll will happen again. lol Only reason I lost last year was b/c of stupid Syracuse. Who knew? lol
Which I am so happy I am on Spring Break this week. Although I went to Florida last week. lol This week I still have to e-mail work to some of my professors which sucks. Where is Spring Break? lol But hey it is all good. lol I have some Marine Bio to do for Monday and even the Monday after break. I also have BMGT that I have to submit by Monday and the Monday after. Then I have Psyc that I have to submit today, Wednesday, and the Monday after break. I know Spring Break you have to do some work, but I am sorry having to submit stuff online during break is so stupid. What had I gone to the beach with friends and had stayed in a hotel without highspeed? How would you submit all this work. I know I haven't had time in the past 3 weeks to get ahead. lol Crazy UMD professors. Although I did get 2 good e-mails from professors yesterday. The first was from my psyc professor with all the grades for the midterms. I got a 100 so that made me happy. Since my Accounting professor couldn't give me one point to get a B. So that brings my grade down. grr. My Accounting professor doesn't even teach. She just gives us homework problems to do then gives you a 1/1 for turning it in and never tells you what you did wrong. So come midterm you really have no clue. I would have gotten a high B or even an A if she actually talked. If it wasn't for Marketing I would have dropped this class the first week. Anyways the second one was from my Accounting professor. It said how it was unfair of her to make us do work over Spring Break so we didn't have to. So that makes for a great break there. A week with no Accounting is good for me. lol
I should have been at the beach this week with some friends, but the ankle messed me up. I guess it is good b/c I can actually do my work I guess. lol I have to admit last week was hard not being able to go on the beach. My dad got a great tan and I got a little sun on my face and arms but not much. The good thing was I did get to go shopping a lot so that was good. However my new jeans were the highlight of my trip. lol That sounds so sad. Anyways being off my feet for 3 months and drinking Coke and no exercising does not lead to good results. So before I went to Florida I went to buy a new pair of jeans so they wouldn't be tight and now I can hopefully start losing this weight I gained and maybe even more. The jeans fit pretty good. I bought them Thursday and wore them for the first time Monday and then they were huge then. Stinks b/c I can't return them b/c I pulled the tag off. But great to know that they were big. The funny thing was I tried them on w/out eating anything so of course they were going to fit better. Then I put them on Monday after eating a huge meal. I am sorry this just makes me feel better b/c all the weight I gained with this ankle is starting to go away. I don't know if people noticed I tried to not go out very much b/c I was so embarrassed. I mean I was never a skinny miny, but I was never this huge. I have great friends b/c they knew I felt like that and they made me go out and tried to make me not feel like that. Now I can wear some shirts I haven't been able to in awhile. Stupid things make me feel better. lol
The update for the fall. I think I am stuck at UMD. I just hope I get on-campus housing or else it will be another horrible semester there. This week I am pretty sure I am going to apply to UT. I don't know who they admit or not so I am too sure about that one. I tried to look for transfer stats, but I just couldn't find them. lol
