Dr. Oprah?
Here's an interesting Newsweek article on Oprah: http://www.newsweek.com/id/200025/page/1 It's nothing new or surprising, just formally written in an article. It's pretty long, so to summarize, the article talks about how prominent pseudo-medicine is promoted on the Oprah show, and by Oprah. Her word is as good as scientific proof to her fans, but she doesn't engage the scientific and medical community into her "debates," so it's completely one-sided and potentially dangerous (i.e. Jenny McCarthy and her vaccines cause autism, her direct and absolute proof: her 1 son). The worse of it is once the facts come out that her suggestions/recommendations are false and dangerous, she doesn't retract them.
