This summer ended on a great note; minus the funeral - My trip was amazing and i have memories to last a lifetime. It felt really good to come home and I'm so glad to be back. I missed *everyone* here so much.
Before this summer began I really wanted this one to be different, kinda a benchmark. A time to really grow and grow up. I wanted it to be more than a break from school work and just a time to chill. I wanted it to really take a place in my life and be a time of change. I think I accomplished that, many of you might not see it and maybe some of you do. But for me this summer, between working almost everyday at an amazing place with some of the best people and kids ever to softball on weekends and going down to Colombia - My little trips and then my big trip to Europe. Then everything about college and my life in the future that Ive done alot of real thinking about. This was more than a normal summer for me. I think I really grew up, and then hearing stuff from family and adult friends Im kinda proud. Not in an arrogant type way but more as something that I needed to do. My outlook on things is a lot different from last year and the years prior to them. I know its only the beginning to a lot of things, but I'm glad how it started off.
I had some great times with a lot of people this summer and I missed out on some great times with some of the people I love the most. But I'm looking forward to this next year and what it has to offer and hopefully some part I can play in it. I love all my friends so much and I can't wait to make some new ones.
This is gonna be a big year.
