Today is a hum drum day.
Here I sit at my work desk, listening to the sounds of saxophonist Stan Getz and guitarist João Gilberto. As much as I enjoy this latin flavored jazz, today it sounds melancholy - almost sad. Kind of like it's mocking happiness, or maybe just toying with the idea of happiness. So today is a hum drum day. Do you ever get those? Not neccessarily a very bad day - no. Just a sort of hum drum ho hum day.
