so the past two days have just been awesome (minus a few hard labor hours gone unappreciated at the pcow, but whats new)
wednesday morning was campaigners and it was an amazing way to start the day as usual, and worship was great
then after school, i went out to lunch with jessica sikes and i love our talks, she really just encourages me to keep doing what im doing and also to reach out and "step out of this boat im in and onto the crashing waves, to step out of my comfort zone..." (quoting casting crowns there, sorry haha) but in other words just reach out to certain people which i normally wouldnt do b/c im very shy and not that outgoing so its a challenge but one that would be so worth it if God's work through me could reach these certain kids and get them to come to Rockbridge and really get the full experience out of it, but back to lunch, i really love the fellowship that is developing with me and jessica, and i was really flattered because she said she thought of me more as an equal then just a high school student, and its also awesome how she has dealt with a lot of things ive dealt with or am dealing with cuz we can relate and we can both be there to give each other support and prayer, but yea lunch was awesome
then today was just sooo much fun in general and awesome, too. i spent the whole day with chez hughes and she is such an amazing girl and im very excited that we are becoming closer and i see a great fellowship forming there, its glorious. we drove around laskin road area delivering pcow flyers, almost getting run over and just laughing really hard at the lady at the bp station on the corner of laskin and first colonial road as well as great purple cow humor and jokes that only we would find humor in (for example: messing up dates on flyers is hilarious to us haha) b/c we get bored out of our mind in that place and go insane (maybe thats why chez quit and im going to quit the purple cow lol) but after doing the flyers we came and ate yummy bbq at my house, then headed to her house to drop off her moms car cuz she needed it and then we headed to pick up mo milli and go to IN YOUR FACE at joe's house. IN YOUR FACE was sooo much fun tonight, i think it was a huge stress reliever for a lot of us there b/c we just needed to take some time out of our busy schedules and just hear some truths from the man, kent hovind lol and laugh so hard that we cryed over facial caulk, talking napoleon dynamite (you know, like it was a dialect or a language or something) and pillow/wrestling fights in the middle of the floor. it was just a lot of fun and put everyone in a great mood which was awesome to see certain people smile for once since they seem so unhappy all the time even though they shouldnt b/c they are an awesome person and yah, but thats not the point. the point is that today/tonight was awesome and it was great spending time with chez, laughing so hard at IN YOUR FACE, jammin out to casting crowns in my car with chez and mo milli and singing at the top of our lungs as my tires spun out haha its just a great feeling to be happy and content and just having fun with a bunch of awesome Christians and having fun without drugs or alcohol...i must say...
gooooosh...its flippin sweet!
its so awesome to see unfold before my eyes what God has in store for me in His plan for my life and what will come next, i can only imagine! <3
