For those of us who may be confused...

After quite an interesting conversation in Genetics lab today I am compelled to restate the facts:

Sex:An organism's sex is defined by its biological role in reproduction, not according to its sexual or other behavior. The female sex is defined as the one which produces the larger gamete and which typically bears the offspring. In contrast, the male sex has a smaller gamete and rarely bears offspring. In some animals and many plants sex may be assigned to specific structures rather than the entire organism.

Gender: in common usage, refers to the differences between men and women. It is noted that gender identity is "an individual's self-conception as being male or female, as distinguished from actual biological sex

Sexual Orientation: refers to the direction of an individual's sexuality, usually conceived of as classifiable according to the sex or gender of the persons whom the individual finds sexually attractive

Therefore just because a person is biologically male and presents a 'female' gender role and dates males does not mean that said person is a homosexual. FURTHERMORE, there is not an innate connection between gender and sexuality...I don't have to love men because I am female. Furthermore I am not a lesbian because of how my parents raised me even though you are a conservative cunt because of how your parents raised you. HESHE is not a appropriate term for an FTM transgendered person, and just because one changes ones gender does not mean that their sex is changed. It also does not necessarily make them gay. Unfortunately because of people like you FTM and MTF people may not feel welcome outside of a queer community. I did not ask for the subject to be changed because I am ashamed of my sexuality, I asked for it to be changed because it is irrelevant to my education of genetics. I wish I could educate you on the fine line between the three above definitions but I am paying for an education, not being paid to educate right-wing conservatives like yourself.
