(no subject)
We had a great time with my mom in town last week! Chris and I had a great date to see Watchmen and grab a bite to eat. I'm not sure when we'll be able to do that again, but hey, at least we got to go out!!
We didn't do too much with mom while she was here--mostly just enjoyed each other's company and let her have all the Gretchen time she could handle. She contracted the flu before she left, and last Tuesday she was feeling just miserable. When I got home from work, she and Gretchen were both napping, and she was just amazed at how great a baby Gretchen is--how well she's able to play on her own for an hour plus and still be happy. :) When I talked to my mom this weekend, she sounded like she's on the mend, so at least she's getting over the crud she picked up!
Nothing much else new with us right now. Work, sleep, enjoy some time together, repeat. :)
I think Chris' cousin Sarah will be in town next weekend for work stuff, but will be stopping by to visit. Should be fun--means I need to clean the house a bit. :)
