It's been a while since I've updated. I guess it's because nothing has pissed me off lately. Well, not anything serious anyway so that's good. I've learned to deal with my problems immediately instead of freaking out about them or avoiding them and that has helped me a lot in the long run.
The summer is almost over, but surprisingly I've had a lot of fun times these past few months such as:
*movie nights and chillin with tito (yes, we do have fun in between the arguing)
*eating out with my mom (this shocked me too)
*Jazzercise (my new favorite gym and job, I'm going to miss it when I go back to school)
*visits to g-boro <3
*watching Brooke and Zane (the little loves of my life!)
*Vegas! (marvelous!)
*Eben St. luau (yes it was that good and deserves its own highlight)
And I'm glad it outweighed the bad:
*Kings - worst job ever, I wish I threw up on them
*Drama con la familia - I lightened the situation by making noises and speaking of inside jokes
*Boredom - which was solved by jazzercise =)
My dad also has called my sister at work recently because he wants us to come visit him in Scotland. It's funny because he mentioned nothing of him helping to pay for a plane ticket. Thanks Dad, you never helped me with anything growing up and the one opportunity you have to redeem yourself a tiny, tiny bit you choose not to take it and you still expect me to go out of my way to see you. Well, fuck that. My sister and I decided to return to Scotland but not tell him we're there because he doesn't deserve to see us. His birthday is tomorrow and frankly I could give two shits. Haha.
On a happier note there are a lot of things I have learned this summer.
~Kids are a lot more fun to be with because they are light hearted and aren't filled with stress and worries adults have.
~Worrying about money solves nothing so you should just do what you want comfortably while you can and everything will figure itself out.
~You have to put yourself out there and show that you care in order to get where you want to be in life. (It took me a lot to be able to do that.)
Although this is sort of a wrap up there are still a few things I'm looking forward to for the remainder of the summer:
*Kevin's b-day (aww yay)
*DZ Retreat (woo hoo)
*My return to K-burg (finally!)
*Tito's b-day (good times i kno)
So I look forward to returning to sweet Glassboro soon. Yessss!
