I hate it when people talk about how much they hate George W. Bush, the government, and the war in Iraq. First off, America's people voted the man in, so you should be badmouthing the public, not one man. Now, If you were robbed or raped, who would you go to? The police, which is a branch of the government. Thats pretty hypocritical. Third, it is impossible to have a world without war. Its human nature to fight, but I think personally, we have done a great thing for the Iraqi people. We've saved more people than we have killed.
So to all those people who talk about shit like that, shut the fuck up. I'm sick of hearing every single day about how much you hate this or that about our country when in fact you've never traveled abroad and realized how good we have it. I think half of those people that are in that "anti-america" category are young people that are doing it just because their friends are, and they want to be different. And holding signs in protest isnt going to do anything, why dont you get off your ass and vote or become a politician, smartass? What ever happend to patriotism? I'm going to do a piece themed on patriotism and ask to get it galleried at my school next to all the anti-war and anti-bush pieces and just see what happens.
Anyways, tomorrow should be really interesting. Tara just finished her dress, and I finished mine yeseterday. The Toasters, The Aggrolites, Big D and the Kids table, Chris murray, and csatss. Lots of my favorite people are showing up, including my favorite fellas. oh man. I'm sure I'll post pics later...
