Rattlesnake
OMG!!! There was a rattlesnake in our backyard yesterday. Heres how it went.
My mom was brushing the dogs when she heard this weird noise. She just thought it was a cricket. So my dog went over there and was doing what he did last time when he saw a snake. He was about to attack it. So my mom was screaming for him to come back to her and he would. I heard her screaming from in the house so I looked out the window, and saw him and I was banging on the window to get his attenion. I did and then I ran downstairs and had to let the dogs inside. Then I had to fine the shovels and my snake boots. So I go down there were it was ,(I absolutely hate poisonous snakes), and I heard this weird noise, and I knew it was a rattlesnake. I was like freakin out. It looked pretty thick. we sw the rattler but we couldn't find the head. So I ran back upstairs, yelled for my sister and called my brother and my dad. (My mom hates snakes too, but my dad wasn't home so we had to kill it ourselves). So my brother told me what to do with rattlesnakes and stuff. So finally my sister comes out in her snake boots and has a BB gun in her hand. (She looked like Annie Oakley). Anyways, she gets down there and we wanted to shot it, but there was no bullets in there. My sister goes back up and came back with the cell phones and a pistol. It had no amo either. So we tried to call our neighbor and see if he would do it, but he wasn't home. So we had to do it ourselves. Good thing is the snake stayed in place andwas relaxed and coiled up (not like when they are going to strike, but like sunbathing) So I go by one side and my mom goes ont he other with shovels in our hands. She took a deep breath and struck trying to aim for the neck, didn't quiet get the neck, but pinned it down, while I had to chop the head off. It kept bitting the shovel. Finally, we got it, and we killed our first snake by ourselves. Usually my dad kills it. We brought it up tot he driveway to see how long it was. turned out to be about 2 inches thick and 2-2 1/2 ft. long. It was a Timber Rattlesnake. OMG!!!!!!! AWWWWWWWWW....
So on my way to gymnastics, I got stuck in big time traffic. I was about 30 minutes late for gym. I had a pretty good day. I did an aerial on the beam. Ok I tried of typing. BUH~BYE LUL
