Next month we're moving. And we've finally decided how to afford it. We're moving in with Jesse's parents. I don't know how thrilled I am about it, except that we'll be saving a bunch of money. It doesn't seem like a whole lot considering we'll still be paying like $500 a month for rent to them and a storage unit for our furniture and junk. But we also don't have to pay for electricity, cable/internet or most of the food. So that part is exciting. My first goal is to get all of our credit cards paid off, that could take up to six months for the smaller ones. My big one I'll continue working on while saving up for our own place. So in order for me to decide whether this is really a good idea or not (not that it really matters), I've decided to make a list of pros and cons. yeah.
PROS
- Save money!
- New not broken bed (ours is broken, we'll take over their guest bed that's not)
- I get free pilates (his mom teaches)
- Real food! lol
- I don't have to clean everything
- more space for wii action
- no more nagging about not visiting
- I will actually have to go through all my crap before we move this time
- Internet that actually works
- No more loud annoying Mexican kids living above us
CONS
- The TENSION
- Won't have our own furniture
- We'll be in East Mesa so no more living a mile away from work.
- Will I get to keep my amazing kitchen stuff there??
- no privacy
- farther from my parents
- possibly not enough room for the furniture I would like to take with me
As they are also moving into a new house when we move in, I don't know the layout, how much room we'll have, exactly where it is, or if we even get our own bathroom (Jesse has two younger brothers). I may add to this list when I find that stuff out.
