Christmas was lovely, I stayed home with just my family this year, which was a nice change of pace. I am tired of driving to Orange County or the Valley for Christmas. I will, however, be going back to LA to socialize on the 29th (call me if you'll be there!) and to see my wonderful older man for New Year's Eve ♥
I loved all my gifts this year... lots of makeup from my brother; a J Crew zebra-print sweater, a gorgeous jewelry box, an enamel bracelet, and a vintage beige Chanel from my parents; and this dress from my aunt and uncle:
We have entirely too much food around...our neighbors and friends sent fudge, eggnog, cookies, candy and a pecan pie, and we have all kinds of dinner leftovers. My plan is to stay out of the house as much as possible for the next few days :) Tonight I might try to go to some after-Christmas sales and tomorrow I'm going to see my adorable friend Angie, who goes to Reed and whom I haven't seen in years. It will be so strange catching up on everything but it will definitely be fun to see her. And of course it will be fun going back to my second home this weekend. I'm sure the newspapers and mail are piling up...
