(no subject)
woah... crazy days. didn't think we were going to get a hurricane... but we had a nice little visit from someone named CHARLEY today/tonight. Hurricane Charley to be exact. Definitely came RIGHT thought Polk County. Yah... that'd be my house. yah... thanks. so anyways... some damage done close to my house, down the street there is like a transmission place, and the roof and some other parts of it are missing. we got REALLY bad wind, and A LOT of rain... but that is it. didn't personally lose power, but right down the street did... oh well. i'll pray for those down where the BAD BAD part hit for sure. we only got it when it was a cat. 3 almost 2. i think by my house our highest winds were about 80? yah... enough to do damage for sure... but everyone i know here is oki. (and i'm included in that... no worries). lol... anwyays... today has been a wierd day... havn't really left my house... except to get pizza with my dad and grandpa, and then to take my grandparents home. they were evacuated from their mobile home... so they came over for the day. anyways... lot of prayers for those in need for sure.
also... if anyone was wondering when Br. Marcel's funeral is, it will be held Tuesday morning at 11am.
Also, Tim McGurk from the weeklong (not sure which one) is in intensive care in the hospital down in Treasure Island. We do not have any information on what happened, or why he is there. Last time I talked with Donna, he was in critical, but stable condition. So, i will be buying a card for him and sending it, signed from "the Saint Leo Abbey Peer Ministers" so PRAY that he is oki, and gets out safely and in good condition. Anyways... umm... trying to think of any other news... not like anyone reads it, but at least i can say it was posted. umm... yah... thats it. oki... well... leave a comment if you like... and i'll talk to you people later. hope all is well. love ya! ~ 'R'
