I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you should write books. You have the best, most entertaining writing style - telling it like it is.

Ha! I only get comments like that when I'm not trying to be entertaining. My posts that I think are hysterical are the ones that no one comments on...;-)

Every morning we drive along MLK going to my office....or maybe it's Grand. Anyway, there are car lots along the way with huge prices on the windshields of the cars. I couldn't help but notice the other day that it was nothing for the cars to have prices in excess of $35,000 on the windshield. These just looked like normal everyday cars & I was taken aback by the high prices. I asked Fred, "How do young people today afford cars with these prices and add to it rent or a mortgage?" "When I was young, cars were $10K & that was a lot & a stretch for us to reach...how do they do it now?"

I hope you find a good car for your money!

I know you'll be glad when the surgery is over. :-/ Your comment about how he looks so much better at 31 lbs vs 29.....when I was in Hawaii recently checking on my mom, I commented to her how she looks so much healthier & as if she'd put some weight on. Yup, she's up to 92 from 88 lbs.
