twenty... for a week

Hello my homies...
Haven't updated in a while, so I thought I should. Last week I turned 20. Woo. It's kind of an odd thing, I'm no longer a teenager, and cannot blame mood swings on teen-anxt. Now, I guess, it's voter-anger?? Who knows... It's kinda depressing in a way, too, because after next year, there are no real big birthdays to be excited about. Most people dread turning 30 or 40 so I dread being 20... which has all ready happened and i did not die. Woot woot!
Classes are going well. Mostly. I really like my Stage Craft class cause we get to help build the simple things for the department shows (mostly flats and platforms, but that's a start). I really think I could go farther with technical theatre; its a lot of fun. Also, my acting class is pretty good. Kind of challenging because we're learning methods of how to create/become your character and I've mostly just made my characters by using impulses and instinct. The monologue that I'm doing for the class, too, is kind of difficult b/c its serious and i'm talking to a girl that is in a coma and i think that i might love her. Yeah. And i chose it cause i wanted to "challenge" myself, but I probably should've just stuck with what i'm better at... comedy. My intro to theater class is almost a joke, but kinda not too... I dunno. It's boring but not bc of the subject matter, but b/c of the professor who thinks he's the best example of a guy in theatre for everything... i dunno... My statistic class is pretty good, but I need to start doing more of the homework right away so i dont not do it before the next test... yeah, that's how school is.
My bike got stolen last week (it was mostly my fault cause I didnt lock it, when i should have, but i didnt so cant do much about it now) so i've been riding the bus to school. its not so bad, but i'm worried that it'll be late on days when i work after school cause i get out of class at 4 and usually have to bw at work anywhere b/t 5 and 6.... and have to walk from the bus stop (about 8 blocks, not strenuous at all, but takes about 10 minutes), change, eat, and drive 15 minutes to work... so... it's not bad, but kinda nerve-racking.
OH! the most exciting news is that I have a new nephew! My sister, Jen, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Oliver Trent with thick brown hair and dark brown eyes on October 1. He's soooo cute. I'm going down to West Palm this weekend so that I can meet him finally. I wanted to go see him last weekend (cause it was a 3 day one for me), but I was sick and didnt want to get him or Jen sick too. I cant wait and will post pics of him after next weekend...

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that things were kosher (but not in a dietary sense) with me. I'm pretty happy and am seeing a lot of hope for my future right now! YAY!
Much love to all! Hope everyone else is doing well!
