Back in Fredonia!

School has started! And the year is off to a great start! Sarah moved in Friday and I followed on Saturday. It was another hot, sweaty, move-in day like last year. Gregory is amazing! Our room has built in dressers, wooden bed frames, and hard wood floors! Ooo, it is so nice! Saturday night Sarah and I decided we didn’t want our puny t.v. anymore, so we went out to Wal-mart and bought a 20” t.v. and a DVD player. The DVD player is so small and cute!
Sunday night we wanted to watch a movie on our new set-up, but for some reason the DVD player wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t read the DVD’s we put in it, and after the 4th DVD we decided that we needed to return it and exchange it for a different player. So we drove out to Wal-mart and exchanged it for a new one. After we got all the way back to the room, we were putting the DVD’s away and realized that one was missing. Oops, we left it in the player that we returned. Crap. So we went all the way back to Wal-mart and got the DVD we left in the player. It was a fun night.
Today we had the first day of classes. My Phonetics teacher is pretty swell, and it’s ironic that he has a speech impediment himself; he stutters a lot and has trouble saying a whole sentence without stalling or murmmering. I still think he is going to be a really good teacher though. Also, there isn’t a final in that class, and I’m pretty psyched about that! My Education teacher is really nice too. She knows how boring the class is and tries to make it more interesting, which is nice. She is in a wheel-chair, and I’m hoping that all of my teachers aren’t going to have disabilities.
Moving on, Sarah and I have a fish named Senor Pablo, he makes a great pet. Andrea and Nicole are coming up on Thursday for a show at BJ’s and I’m excited to see them! I missed my fartface. This weekend I am going home to make a boat-load of money at Perkins. SPEAKING OF JOBS:::
I was hired to work at the Cranston food court today! A bunch of us went to eat dinner and Ryan asked about getting a job there and he was hired on the spot, and I really need a job on campus this year so I followed suite and asked the guy about a job too. The guy told me to fill out an application and see him before I left and I would have a job like that! Sweeeeeeeeeet. So I work M,T,W,Th, from 5-8 in the pantry section, making salad and sandwhichs! Awesome. Now I can pay off my car, replace the money I spent on the new t.v., maybe buy an ipod, and afford my trip to France this spring! Amazing! I am psyched.
Speaking of Cranston, I am in love with that building. The bookstore is fabulous, the Starbucks is great, the convenience store is awesome and I can use my meal plan there to get lunch (like soup and lunchables and such!) and the dining hall is spectacular! They cook the food for you right in front of you, everything is fresh, and the ice cream bar is gigantic! Ooooo, I am in love. Emma and I went there for breakfast and I got pancakes, which were made right in front of me, and eggs, which were cooked fresh right in front of me, and bacon, which was actually real, not-rubbery bacon. Oooo it was so good! Too bad the place isn’t open on the weekends, I am going to eat there for every meal!

To close: I give you pictures:

P.S.- I am considering stopping in at UB on my way back to school Monday night to see my favorite girls and hug Kerri since I haven’t seen her in months! <3
