“Don’t you hate it when things change so fast you can’t keep up and you feel out of the loop in your own life?”
You betcha.
I’m all registered for classes next semester. My schedule looks like this:
Phonetics M/W/F 9:00-10:00
Education M/W/F 2:00-3:00
Speech Development T/R 9:30-11:00
Speech and Hearing Mechanism T/R 12:30-2
Western Civ T/R 2-3:20
5 classes. Not bad. 4 of them are for my major though, so I hope I am not to overwhelmed with a lot of work. That 4 hour gap on M/W/F is going to really annoy me. I would much rather get my classes over and done with in one block, but hey you get what you get.
So hmmm…Easter weekend was busy, busy, busy. While trying to get over some bizarre virus that stripped me of my voice, I worked Friday-Tuesday morning til afternoon. Hello money that I desperately need. I’ve been a good girl and have taken advantage of the gorgeous weather. Kerri and I go on walks some nights and talk which I love. Kristina surprising came to visit me out of the blue. She came up yesterday and spent the night and left after dinner today. We caught up and I showed her Fredonia and we spent 2 afternoons in the sun. It was fun. There are only 3 weeks left of this semester, and I hope they go by quickly. I’m sick of spending beautiful days stuck in class rooms and doing homework. As the semester winds down the stress starts to mount. Lots of things need to get done before classes end (aka two papers and a sociology project to completely B.S.). More stress=more homesickness/longing for summer to me. I dunno. I get bored/lonely very easily. Dear Fredonia, start having something for me to do! Tomorrow Kerri’s friend Melissa is coming to Fredonia so hopefully we will get together and do something =)
O! Room selections took place this week. AND I GOT INTO GREGORY! Woot woot. Sarah and I will be in Gregory 220 next year, right next to the bathroom and across from the laundry room (I hope it’s not too noisey). Lots of her friends are our neighbors, which I’m very happy about. I met all of them and while we were waiting for our numbers to be called we were fooling around and they all seem like really awesome people. Now I’m looking forward to hanging out with Lani and Caitlin and those girls next year and doing stuff together on the weekends and everything.
Another last thing to figure out is how the heck I’m getting out of here. My mom really needs to step up and finalize how she is going to move me out of my dorm room and everything that Thursday. I wish I could stop reminding her about what day/time I’m done. That worries me that she STILL can’t remember when I am moving out. My dad and/or my brother are going to see if they could come too. That would be so helpful, I can’t see just my mom and I moving my refrigerator down 3 flights of stairs.
19 days, then SUMMER. o summer..summer...summer...
