BACK HOME FROM ITALY!!!! =D
wow.... what to say about my 9 day trip to Italy... other than it was the most amazing, life changing experience of my entire life! Italy is the most beautiful place on earth, it has momuments from times long past and the amazing thing is those momuments were made by man when they didn't have cranes or a high-tech pully. They had their hands and strength to help them. I took so many pictures and I made so many countless memories, life time friendships, many inside jokes, and i just had the time of my life. Now i will tell you about my trip from the very beginning.....
I got up around 7 to take a shower and get ready since we were leaving by 10. I got dressed finished packing and brought my suitcases downstairs, then i had a little breakfast but since i was soo nervous and excited i didnt eat much. I went online and talked with Matt L., Bri and Amber.. i told Bri to meet me at the school round 9:30ish so i could my last goodbye! me and matt played some mad libs again ( lol ) and then i left and said goodbye to Andy and off the bank at 8 i went so that i could get my travelers checks! that only took a few minutes and then we headed to school i went inside and found Bri.. we talked for a few minutes until Mrs AppleBee said we had to get to class i was like im going to italy so i dont need to go to class and im saying bye so give a me a minute! haha i said bye to Bri.. wishing she was going with me but i knew once i got there i would have fun!... then i went outside and waited for everyone to get there so we could load the bus up and head on our way. I was really nervous by then and told myself i didnt wanna go anymore.. then came the time to say goodbye to my mom... she cried although she thinks i didnt know.. i almost cried but i closed my eyes and took a deep breath and stepped onto the bus although it was early everyone was somewhat awake and they were talking about the trip and how much fun it was gonna be. I sat down out back and Matt L. sat down next to me..on the way down i listened to my CD player and talked with Matt.. Nate Chantrill was sitting behind us so i talked with him a lil and Justin Nolton was sitting by us along with Brian Campbell and Colby Malcolm. We also watched Dinosaurs on the way down haha good movie though lol there was a bathroom on the bus and Latuscha went to go in it and Brian asked for a quater or something and Matt gave him one and they locked Latuscha in haha it was pretty funny... the bus ride was 3 hours long and then we got to Boston.. we went through secruity and customs and we had 2 and a half hours maybe 3 hour lay over in Boston.. i walked around with Eric Bilodeau and got a bagel and collatta at Dunkin Donuts and we walked around for maybe a half hour or so... then i sat down by our gate and ate my bagel while i watched everyone play poker and just talk. Then we got onto the plane to New York i sat with Nate C. and acted like i was scared of flying to calm my nerves a bit and it made him and me laugh which i think helped alot. We landed in New York and had 15 minutes to get to our next gate =O we pretty ran like crazy to get there and then we got onto the plane and i sat next to Trevor P. Latuscha was in front of me along with Laura Gardner and Bre Wing.. i slept most the flight except for when Latuscha was shouting PARTYYYY PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY!! lol and when Bre and Laura and him played slap jack.. haha Brian sat a row up from Latuscha and when he was in the bathroom again Brian poured water into his seat and tried not to laugh when Latuscha sat down it was soo funny! then the plane gave us dinner i had chicken and potatoes and salad. then i slept some more and woke up and the plane gave us breakfast.. a hard bagel with cream cheese orange juice and a banana. We got off the plane and got our baggage Chris Nunn's baggage got lost so he had to go and make a claim for it.. then we walked around looking for bathrooms and our Tour director Daniella.. we found a bathroom near where Matt L. and Mr Markie were getting off their plane (( they had to take a different plane since ours was full )) i changed and washed my face.. Mrs Bouchard went to the bathroom came out of the stall and asked how to flush the toliets lol instead of a handle on the side they have buttons on the wall above it to flush the toliets lol... then we sat around outside of Matt and Markies gate after they got there for like 10 minutes until Latuscha and Mrs Bouchard found Daniella and then we got onto a bus with two other groups one from New York and another from Windum Maine! i sat with Laura on the bus and then we got off the bus at our hotel dropped our baggage off and it was our 1st tour day!! we had to walk to the Spanish Steps which were HUGE!!! then i walked around with Markie, Matt, Trevor and Eric we saw the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and some other pretty cool momuments. Then we met back at the Spanish Steps and i almost fell alseep sitting there in sunlight! it was soo hot!! Nate Justin Andrew Mike Molly Amy Brian and them all told us about this crazy guy they like to call Billy Ray Cryrus (( since he looked like him )) how he talked to himself and would then laugh like a hyena lmao they all thought it was pretty funny... i didnt hear him laugh tho Jack did a pretty good impression of him i was told. Then once everyone was back at the steps we had to walk back to where our bus dropped us off and that took at while .. it was supposed to pick us up around 7 and didnt get there until 7:30ish .. Jack had bought this stress ball thing that had flour in it and Trevor popped it so there was flour all on the ground and Jack was putting it in a big pile when an italian man walked by when he asked how much he was selling it for!! he thought it was crack or something!!! LMAO!!!!! Jack was like noo its not drugs man .. that bad for you dude drugs are bad!!! hahaha Mrs Bouchard made Jack sweep it up after that lol then Nate Justin Brian Mike and Andrew all found a strip club down the street and walked to it.. haha men! lol then the bus showed up a lil while after that we got on and got to the Hotel and got our room keys and found out who we were rooming with.. the rooms were - Me, Laura, Victoria, and Brittany - Molly, Amy, and Mrs Bouchard - Rudie, Bre, Ashley, and Elise - Nate, Justin, and Brian - Chris, Tyler, Eric, and Matt - Trevor, Jack, and Colby - Latuscha, Markie, and Mr Bouchard. ... we didnt wanna go to dinner that night so we ordered some pizza... i went upstairs to my room and changed.. the rooms were sooo small and the showers were like 2 by 2 ft. it sucked majorly but we made the best of it... i went outside and watched them play poker and then i went to go and help carry the pizzas over to the hotel i was straving and ate a WHOLE pizza to myself! then i hung out with Nate Justin Brian and Colby in their room for a lil bit... then i went to bed and took a shower and we woke up around 6:15 ish i got up got dressed and put on makeup and then had some breakfast and went onto the bus... the bus ride wasnt too bad but i found out that their was a cockroach at the breakfast table untder the plastic cover.. thankfully i didnt see it or i would have freaked out!! i cant exactly remember what we did the 1st day but if i remember ill let ya know... or actually ill just tell you where we went we went to the Vacitan City saw some musems, went to Pompie, the Island Of Caprii, a wood shop, a leather shop, a few churches, Ostia Anqtica, Mount Vosuvous, Colliseum, Castle S. Angleo, St. Peters Basicallia, a movie place to learn about Rome more, an actual movie thearer where some of us saw The Ring 2 in Italian!! flippin scary shit man!! (( GIANT GUMMY BEARS ROCK MY WORLD!!!! )), Sorrento, and a club in Sorrento..... now the Hotels- Hotel La Pergola can go to hell!! the maids stole my mascara which just kinda pissed me off, and they stole my 100$ perfum from Burberry that Brity got me... i was flippin pissed!!! other then that and the cockroachs and the smallness i had some fun there i hung out with Justin Brian Colby and Nate everynight in Nates room.. Me Laura Brittany and Victoria all saw a very funny tape which i wont say more then "Hows your coin roll doing?" haha my girls know what i mean =P One night though the boys in Tyler's room got into a fight and they broke the door handle.. haha the italian guy at the desk in lobby was like " Why you break door?!" hahahaha and after he left Justin was sitting on the couch gets up and says "Fuck yo couch niggah!" hahahahaha omg i love my shopping buddy!!! =) After the horrible yet sorta fun experience in Hotel La Hell lol we left for our new hotel Hotel Albatros, which by the way was SOOOOOO FLIPPIN NICE!!!!!!! I was rooming with Molly and Amy, which was pretty fun. That night though we were going out to the club and so all the girls were in our room Molly was doing peoples make-up and handing out her clothes and Amy was doing peoples hair i lent Bre my sandals omg was she soooo cute in her new dress!!! I wore my black skirt i had bought that day and one of Mollys halter tops! ;] Thanks Moll!! Amy wore a purple tank top and black pants, Molly wore black tank top and black pants, Ashley wore her new white skirt she bought with a black top with pink purple blue and white polka dots on it, Bre wore her new dress which is kinda hard to explain but it was really colorful and cute!, Elise wore light jeans and an orange halter top, Rudie wore tan capris and a black top, Victoria wore my jean skirt and a black and white stripped halter, Brittany wore white pants and a blue and white halter top, Laura wore white pants and a black and blue top. The boys all dressed up with their cute lil dress shirts and kackie pants =) lol Chris wore this sweater thing and he made his hair look like a mo-hawk and he wore sun-glasses haha it was soo funny! We had dinner after we all got ready for the most part, then us girls went back up to our room and finished gettin ready before 9 pm and we got onto the bus and headed to the club! =D i was really excited but kinda nervous too because i didnt know what to expect there. Since i had lost my money that day in a flippin bathroom stall go team me! haha Matt L. paid for me to get in thanks Mattyyy =D!! lol we got inside and the music was kinda weird at first but me Ash, Laura, Britt, Victoria, and Bre all went out and danced anyways while everyone else sat down or got a drink! ;] haha After a bit once people started showing up the music changed into hip-hop and rap -ish stuff lol us girls were all dancing and Ash and Chris were too.. Chris happened to be the only guy out there for a while when a very cute italian boy came up to me and Laura and asked us what our names were and where we were from and how old we were .. the guy was 17 and obviously from Italy, but he told me his name but silly me i forgot =P haha he asked me to dance and i said yes of course!! cuz WHEN IN ROME!!! lmao we danced for a few songs until me and Elise realized that this waiter from the Hotel followed us there so we got off the dance floor and went to go find the guys... I found Colby and Nate and Brian and told them to go out and dance with us so that maybe that guy would leave us alone!! we went onto the dance floor and i told Brian to dance with me!! ;] sneaky ol` me!! hehe me and Brian danced the whole night pretty much... i think Amy got jealous and i know for a fact that Matt got jealous HA! like i care at all! woo fucking hoo right Krys? haha i even told Brian i thought Matt was gonna wanna kill him and Brian said he didnt care and he didnt think Matt did either since at the time Matt was dancing with Laura but i knew Matt cared since all he did was starring at me and Brian the whole night!! =D it was sucha great night i didnt want it to end! I even danced with Latuscha hahah cuz Mrs Bouchard wanted to dance with Brian to embarrase him but he wouldnt dance with her.. and i think the only other girls he danced with were Amy and Molly for like two songs! HA!! then he danced with me the rest of the night! YAY!! Justin kept looking over at us and winking and giving Brian thumbs up!! hahaha whatta dork monster! =P we left the club at 12 and got back to the Hotel .. i got into some PJ's after i took a nice showaaaa =) then i went out onto the roof and took pictures of a castle at night and the stars were out for once YAY!!! =D it deffinitly was my night!! then i sat out on the roof a lil more waiting for Amy to be done blow-drying her hair so i could... Amy came out onto the roof when she was done and since we were right next to Brian, Nate, Tyler, and Chris's room we stood right by their window and listened to them talk lol then Amy kinda fell and started laughing and the guys yelled at us to get off the roof and called us DRUNKS!! LMAO!!!!! i yelled back at them =P go team me! then i went inside the room and dried my hair and then went to bed! i woke up in the morning, got dressed and ate some breakfast then we got onto the bus and i sat next to Brian woo hoo! Amy deff was jealous though because she asked me if me and Brian were going out.. we arent but still i thought it was funny... we went to the Island Of Caprii that day and went onto a boat and then took a lil cruise around the island which was pretty cool... we saw lil baby jeller fishes!!! =D hehe they were soo cute! lol Latuscha poured water on us though when me Elise Bre Laura Chris and Ash were looking at them lol losaaaaaaaaa! haha then after the lil cruise we went back to the island and waited for the mini-bus to take us to a lil village up top of the island so we could do some shoppin but i still didnt have my money back so i kinda just walked around until we had to leave and then we got back onto the mini-bus and went back down to the docks so we could get onto another boat and i sat between Eric (( on my left )) and Brian (( on my right )) Justin sat next to Eric and i fell asleep on Brians shoulder and he had his head leaning on mine =) happiness right there!! I woke up though to some lil kid a few rows back hyperventaling and crying because they got sea-sick! ick!! lol then we got onto the bus and headed to the last hotel! I forget the name of this Hotel but it was really nice i was rooming with Laura, Victoria, and Brittany again! me and Victoria claimed the king size bed as ours and Laura and Britt had the twin size beds.. our hotel room had a BIG shower and even a kitchen with a sink, stove, oven, and mini-fridge!!! WOOOOOO! that night though we didnt have any chaperones so we basically slept where ever which the teachers even said was fine with them since Molly and Amy didnt even have a room! =O haha i hung out with Brian, Nate, Colby, and Justin in the begininng of the night and then it was pretty much just me and Brian in his room sleeping .. we watched some t.v. while Nate was packing his stuff and Nate out of the blue asks me and Brian if we will need his king size bed tonight Brian laughs and i say maybe and start laughing and then Brian said probably! ;] :-* lol and then we fell alseep i was freezing cold so when he got up to close to the porch door i stole his bed!! ;] and then he put both the twin beds together so we had a big bed! woot woot! we had to wake up at 3 and we got the worst wake up call ever!! Justin jumped on Brian and started like humping him!! LMAO and then i was like Justin get off of him!.. and Tyler was like Oh you want some too!? haha and jumped on me! boys are soo weird!! Justin asked me and Brian what we did that night and we said nothing... i was like well i tried waking Brian up but noo he wouldnt wake up! Brians like no you didnt!.. and Justin goes damn Brian! she wanted some action you idiot!!! and slaps him hahaha *shakes head* wow!! then i went back to my room packed my stuff and brought it to the bus.. i went back up to the boys room where Nate and Brian were sleeping Brian was up putting his shoes on but Nate was still sleeping so i jumped on his bed and was like Nateeeeee are you lonelyyyyy? and i ruffled his hair and pushed me off the bed and pulled the covers over his head i laughed and went out to the lobby... then we all got onto the bus and i sat down next to Brian and behind us was Colby and Elise!! i think they would be soooo cute together!! teehee =) lil match maker me!! Brian fell asleep on the bus and i fell asleep on his shoulder again! lol then we got the airport and got our baggage checked and waited to get on the plane.. we got on to the plane and surprise surprise i was sitting with Brian =D =D Amy sat right behind me though and she kept hitting my seat but yet again i got my way and fell asleep on his shoulder and then we got to the airport in Zurich, Swizterland and had a four hour lay over!! =O i pretty much sat there and fell alseep until it got around 11:15 and then me, Victoria, Ashley, Chris, Brian, Justin, Colby, Elise, Brittany, Andrew, Molly and Amy all went to the gate since we had to get on to the plane at 12:10-ish and we didnt wanna be late but Tyler, Nate, Mike, Laura and Bre stayed behind to tell Mrs. Bouchard where we went.. we sat around and waited for a bit until everyone else showed up... we got onto the plane and i sat next to Elise and then Colby was next to her and Mike was next to Colby =) greaaaaaat! haha Eric sat behind me then Matt was next to him.. then Amy then Ashley and behind them was Nate, Brian, Molly, and Andrew to my left was Tyler and Victoria then behind them was Justin and Chris and over on the other side of the plane was Mrs Bouchard and her husband then Markie and Laura and behind them Latuscha and Bre =D the plane ride wasnt too bad... then we got off got through customs and secruity easily although Latuscha got searched haha Tuschy!!! lol then we were in BOSTON YAY!!!!!!! never in my life i think will i be as happy to be going back home to Maine! i mean cmon.. Maine?! haha but it was nice to be home although i had a lot of fun!! i slept most of the ride on the bus and then when we got back to EL Eliza and Tiff held up a huge poster and Brittanie and Bri and Vicki were all waiting with my mom =D i love my friends!!! they all tackled me when i got off the bus!!!!! haha flippin losers! i finally got to have some food other then PASTA BREAD AND FLIPPIN PIZZA!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
this trip has changed me in so many ways that i cant even explain it... i have so much more respect for all those people i became so close with and i have made memories that i will never forget =) my point of view on life has changed as well and i have a greater appreciation for those beautiful momunments of the past... never ever will i forget anything that happened and i am so greatful for this opportunity!!
