Yesterday was the best Saturday all year! It was the most eventful Saturday I've had in a long long long time. Eric and I woke up at around 12pm and got ready for our first date :). Eric gelled his hair and wore a button down shirt and everything. He was so cute! I thought I died when he smiled. I swear it was the first actual real date-feeling date I've ever had. It's one of those amazing-and-I-will-never-forget-it kind of thing. It went a little something like this...
Gracious Tammy, who was going home, dropped us off at the Spectrum at around 2. We walked around and shopped. I spent forever at Hollister and luckily came out with 1 thing. I exercised self-control! Then we spent forever at Aeropostale. I tried on like 6 things but got nothing. No worries, I did not panic because I'm not suppose to raid Aero until summer where there will be Carolyn's sister's discount >_>. Plus I tried on a size 1/2 for everything and none of them fit properly :X. I swear, Aero sizes are so weird. I'm 1/2 for some things and magically not for others. The bermuda shorts I wanted are still $30 >:[. Eric, on the other hand, bought enough for both of us! Haha, he tried on this white and blue horizontal striped polo and looked stunning :). So he bought that and these really cute plaid shorts. Now everyone has plaid shorts but me! The cashier said that if he spends $10 more then he gets a free beach towel so he went and grabbed another shirt. When we got home, Eric realized they forgot to remove the security tag thing from it lol.
So after some shopping, around 4:15pm, we went to get movie tickets for Pirates of the Caribbean 3 at 6:45pm. He bought my ticket :). Then Eric bought us food at Auntie Annie's cuz we passed by it earlier and I remembered about their pretzel dogs >_>. Just thinking about them makes my mouth water *drool*. So, obviously, once the idea of pretzel dog enters my mind, there is no other choice but to eat it. Eric was like "we could share a pretzel and a pretzel dog" and I was like "but I dont wanna share my pretzel dog..." HAHA, yeah so that was fatty moment of the day :(. That was amazing though! My pretzel dog and the almond pretzel, except Eric ended up dropping the last bite on the floor lol. The almond pretzel not the pretzel dog. If the last bite of a pretzel dog was dropped on the floor I wouldn't be alive right now to tell of my adventure.
After that we camwhored around xD. I love taking pictures! There are some really cute ones :). We took our time and dwaddled around because we thought getting to the movie an hour early would be fine. We strolled around in Target and took took pictures at various fountains. Then we finally headed over to the theater around 5:45pm and there were several lines for potc with a show time past 7 >_>. So when we finally found our line you can imagine how long it stretched. That's ok though because we ended up with ok seats. We sat on the size but right at the aisle so it was fine :). Plus, I didn't have to sit next to a stranger hohoho. Eric bought popcorn and soda :). He also blow a straw cover in the air and it landed on an old man but he didn't notice :X. The lady behind him did though haha and she turned around to see what immature punk did it :).
Mmmm, they didn't do a Harry Potter preview D:. That was mildly disappointing. I didn't know that the movie was 2.45 hours long. I'm not a good movie critique so no movie review here. It had humorous parts though and I like laughing huuuur. I also like the monkey! I guess it got confusing in the middle because of so many deals but the ending was awesome 8D.
The movie lasted until 9:45pm and I existed the theater in desperate need of a bathroom. Luckily we found one rather quickly outside or else i would've exploded. I love the Spectrum at night <3. We had 2 choices: eat first or ride ferris wheel first because both things close at 11. I voted for ferris wheel (we all know my vote is all that really counts ;D) because I don't like rushing food and I can't eat fast so off to the wheel we went. IT WAS SO CUTE, the whole ferris-wheel-riding. I've always wanted to do it :). Although Irvine is not that pretty haha. Not enough lights! There was this entire side that was just black.
After fulfilling Tiffany's dream, we headed over to Japanese food. It was yummy :D. Fried california roll MMMMMMMMM. We didn't get to eat fried icecream though because their kitchen was closed. So after that Eric called Jeff, who was kind enough to come pick us up. Cold Stone was still open when we passed by so Eric bought cheesecake icecream. Yummers! Then we waited for Jeff and got home around 12 xDDDDDD.
So that concludes my date :). I have to say, I didn't think something like this would ever happen to me. It was so...movie-like except for once it was actually happening. No more of this wishing and dreaming and thinking that maybe my expectations are too high and forcing myself to be ok with disappointment time after time. Dreams can come true, apparently <3.
Yeah...I'm happy :). Thank you, Eric <3.
