OLYMPICS
Is anyone else excited about the Olympics being on?
I am!!!!!!
I watched the Womens Gymnastics, men and women butterfly..freestyle etc.
I love being able to see all the great athletes perform.
I remember when I had my own little dream of being an Olympic champion in Gymnastics. I was so good, and didn't end up going anywhere with it after my freshmen year of high school...why oh why didn't I continue?
I was also on swim team for about 7 years to keep in shape for gymnastics. I think I have more trophy's from swimming then I do from gymnastics. Gymnastics was always my first love, I so just what to go to the gym and do some flips.
The USA womens gymnastics team needs to work on a few things, but in all actuality they are a very good team.
The Romania team completely rocks!
I couldn't help but hope one of them would mess up even the slightest bit so they wouldn't beat USA, but what they did on the balance beam was magnificent.
I found myself nit-picking at every little thing the gymnastists did wrong, counting how many 10th of a point they would lose on the most petty of things.
I know I know I'm such a geek...lol
